With the flexibility that comes with being over 18 and the ability to convincingly play teenage and young adult roles, Maya offers productions the best of both worlds.

At just 5ft 1in (153cm) tall, she is highly castable across a broad age range.

Based within the M25, close to London and Elstree Studios, Maya is ideally located for film, television and theatre work. She holds a full UK driving licence, is able to travel independently and is often available at short notice.

Whether on stage or in front of the camera, Maya effortlessly connects with her characters and the emotional nuances of each performance. She responds confidently to direction and quickly adapts to changes throughout the rehearsal and filming process.

Having successfully completed her professional acting training at Arts1, Maya continues to develop her skills through regular coaching and specialist training while building her career. Examples of her work and range can be found on her Showreel page.

She speaks with a clear Received Pronunciation (RP) accent and performs confidently in a variety of accents, including General American, Scottish, Irish (Northern and Southern) and Australian. She is bilingual in English and Danish, and holds both British and Danish passports.

Committed to continually developing her craft, Maya has extensive training in acting, singing and dance. Her training includes Estill Voice Training, alongside tap, ballet, jazz, commercial, modern and many other dance styles.

Away from acting, Maya enjoys horse riding, horse jumping, ice skating, roller skating, rollerblading and swimming.

There is nowhere Maya would rather be than performing.
